One of Seattle's beloved party set and philanthropists, AJ Kamra, put on a fabulous brunch for his closest friends this Saturday. Kamra is Corporate Director of Human Resources for the Dow Hotel Company, serving on the behalf of many charitable organizations; he is a member of the Arnold Guild with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, president of Trinity Club in Seattle, serves DIFFA Seattle, has served on the Bravo Board for The Seattle Opera, and is a member of The Rainier Club.

He is clearly a class act, and guests enjoyed an incredible spread. He made scrambled eggs with an elegant twist, and the best bacon this side of anywhere. The charming host has a lovely condo on First Hill with a balcony where mimosas and gorgeous Seattle summer weather are the feature attractions. His closest friends were invited to the intimate gathering- among them were Subterfuge regulars: former Duetsche Bank Director, Dariusz Kalsizuk; Editor, Sarah CaplesDaymon Bruck, Principal of GUILDHOUSE, a branding and design firm that just opened an office in Seattle; socilaite and Boeing Facilities Manager, Korene Hubacka; host, AJ Kamra; and socialite in training, Miss E. Later Saturday evening some of the brunch attendees capped off the evening with a beach party that included a bonfire on Alki Beach. What a great summer this gang is having!

Beside scrumptious food and close friends and perfect weather, what does a good host need to pull off a beautiful brunch in high style? According to AJ, "Seventeen bottles of bubbly, a liter of Goose, two bottles of Pimm's and 40 friends is a great formula for fun."
