Drinking Lessons with Lucy Brennan at the Sorrento

Hip Sips by Lucy BrennanThe Sorrento Hotel's new event series "Drinking Lessons," which explores the American Cocktail, continues this coming Monday, October 5. This week, the hotel welcomes mixologist Lucy Brennan, author of Hip Sips, a collection of coktail recipes in which she displays her prowess in blending flavors. As the Oregonian once put it, "Something really does set Brennan apart—almost an uncanny feel for mixology that makes each drink taste like some new element on the flavor chart." She has been recognized by many publications for her unique skills and masterful palate. Lucy was named the spirit professonal for 2007 by Sante Magazine and honored as one of the nation’s top five mixologists by Food and Wine Magazine in 2006.
