The Bravery, a group known for their seamless fusion of both the post-punk revival and new-wave styles, recently headlined a showcase at The Showbox at the Market. In an effort to promote their new album, Stir the Blood, the preponderance of songs performed came from this decidedly dark, third studio effort.

Kheper Games recently celebrated their smash-hit game Sex! The Card Game at the Columbia Tower Club. On a cold and rainy night, the hot topics and cold drinks kept everyone in the Columbia room feeling at least a little warm. The unorthodox game for lovers—which gives new meaning to the terms "Five Card Stud" and "Poker"—has sold over a million units worldwide, has been translated into multiple languages and now offers versions for gay and lesbian couples.
